The Elands Valley Conservancy starts at the historic NZASM tunnel on the N4 from Waterval Boven and continues through the gorge alongside the Elands River for about 60 kilometres, a splendid gateway to the Kruger National Park.

Breathtaking scenery, cultural history, activities such as hiking, fly fishing, bird watching, mountain biking, or just relaxing at one of the many establishments or restaurants and pubs on route. Special about the Elands Valley is the Elands River and the Elands River Falls, the 120 year old tunnel, the longest span of electricity cabling in the world, the imported, turn of the century dressed stone NZASM railway tunnel, the Five Arches Bridge and the imposing sheer red sandstone cliffs.
